Carol Qazi International Student Scholarship

Carol Qazi International Student Scholarship has been founded to honor the memory of Carol Qazi, the former Director of International Student Center at Mission College.

Carol Qazi was a passionate educator and leader in international education and global studies. In 1999, she became the first Director of International Student Center at Mission College. During her 16-year tenure at the college, she devoted herself to serving international students from all over the world and was instrumental in expanding and guiding the IIS intensive English Program into a successful program as it is today. She was a mentor and a friend, with one student describing her as "the mother for all international students" which truly showed her love and passion for helping international students.
